Question for anyone who knows anything about CYS (CPS)

Hi, if you ever worked for, do work for or have any experience with CYS can you please answer a few questions??

Back story.. so I’m 19 years old and my parents are mad that me and my now 5 month old son (then four month) moved out. I only moved because the environment me and my son were in wasn’t good... well my parents are mad and are trying everything in their power to get Kyden off of me.. they called CYS saying that I had a poor medical history.. well CYS said there’s nothing they could do about that because nothing of their accusations proved me to be an unfit mother. I won’t lie my type one diabetes wasn’t in best control in my younger years but since then has improved drastically. Since my mother couldn’t make a case for that she dug even deeper.. said my child was living in an unsafe environment.. okay sorry honey the only unsafe environment he lived in was your house but anyways... she gave the address to my boyfriends old apartment knowing he didn’t clean up too well after himself or his dog.. my son and I NEVER lived in that apartment Kyden was never in that apartment except for once when I helped him move... today I found out that mail was sent to his old address with my name on it stating that a worker was coming to investigate.. well apparently a worker did investigate BUT I never lived there.. my name wasn’t on the lease or anywhere associated with that apartment.. I got a phone call after they already searched the apartment saying they want to come and search my new house.. not knowing what to do I gave them the address since I have nothing to hide.

Can they legally do that? When a complaint was filed to a place the baby has never once lived and I wasn’t even associated with? What should I do? What do I need to know before they visit? Any tips? Thank you! I am seriously at a loss 😔
