When to get a 3D ultrasound?

I want to get one ASAP, when’s the earliest it would be good to go?

I was told 26-34 weeks. Baby needs to have fat for the best pictures. I can’t wait to get one either!! 🥰

I'm going at 15 weeks for gender! And I usually get one between 28-32 weeks to see facial features :)

My OB surprisingly did my very first ultrasound in 3D a few days ago at 11+2.

They say it's best at about 25-30 weeks since you can start to see lots of facial features. I'm doing it at 16 so that I can try to see the gender early and use that to announce publicly
