Seeing a lot of posts about flat heads...

So, here is a great website with pictures to help assess if your baby has any flat spots:

It usually corrects itself, especially if it is mild, once your baby is older and spends more time lifting his or her head. For now, tummy time, repositioning while sleeping, and baby wearing are great ways to take pressure of specific spots.

Also, it’s completely not your “fault” if your baby has a flat head. Babies like to sleep, and the back to sleep campaign has helped save lives but also increased the number of babies with flat head syndrome. Also, many babies with limited space in the uterus (especially multiples) are born with flat spots.

If a flat spot is severe or isn’t gone by about 4 months, then they’ll start talking about helmet therapy. It’s really not a big deal at all, and flat heads are a cosmetic issue more than a medical issue.
