Let me start by saying that I’m a YOUNG career woman. And as hard as I try to be mature and not show my age, sometimes it slips out without me wanting it to 😂

SO WHAT HAPPENED.....

I work in HR and part of my job is to attend job fairs. My boss flew in to come with me. She brought this table cloth, and asked me to wash it. So I do- along with my other laundry.

The morning of I completely forgot about it and yanked it out of my dryer. Are you starting to see where this story is going yet?

We get there, I’m confident as can be. Dressed to the 9’s, fully prepared.

We go shake the table cloth to put it on the table and.....

MY PAJAMA SHORTS FALL OUT.

My boss PICKED THEM UP. AND HANDED THEM TO ME.

I laughed it off and apologized, but the more I tell the story to people, expecting lighthearted laughs, I get horrified looks.

NOW I want to bury my head like an ostrich.

Did my Walmart shorts just ruin my career???
