Anybody nursing and pumping to bottle feed?

If so, How’s it going??my nipples need a break from baby, but I’m scared to start pumping this soon and giving her a bottle. We have the tommie tippee bottles which are really similar to my breast.

I am doing both and have been since she was a week old. I mostly nurse her, but she gets a bottle one sometimes two times a day and I pump whenever she gets a bottle. We are using como tomo bottles and I have not have any issues so far with her going between breast and bottle. She shows a clear preference for breast, but will take a bottle. She’s 4 weeks old.

I am. My nipples were so cracked and sore. My son cluster fed and I felt like my nipples were on fire. I express after each feed and it works well.

I’ve been pumping for the most part as nursing as been both frustrating for me AND baby. It breaks my heart so bad I could cry. :(

I’m doing both just so that my husband can help feed & give me a break. We have the tommee tippee bottles & it’s the only bottles our Lo took to.

Have you seen a lactation consultant? I had a lot of nipple pain, cracked, bleeding and blistered nipples and it was because my sons latch wasn’t deep enough. Went and saw an LC and she taught me how to get him on deeper and have had very minimal pain since we got it figured out. 
If you do decide to use bottles you should check out pace feeding!
