Can my 7 month old have cream of chicken soup?

I’m nervous to just give him a piece of chicken. If that’s how you even do it. And I don’t want to use the meat jar baby foods. I plan of pureeing some chicken, but was wondering if I can give him a little cream of chicken soup.

I'm sure you can. In my opinion, the pureed chicken is better because of all the preservatives and salt in the canned cream of chicken.

My son is offered whatever we’re eating.. (he’s had pieces of Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets lol) his pediatrician told us at his 6 month appointment he was clear to have any and everything except honey.

That kind of soup has a TON of sodium in it. I wouldn’t.

I shred chicken and mix it with avocado! He loves it and I don’t have to worry about the sodium as much.

My daughter won't eat purees but is very interested in food. We just give her any soft foods we eat. I make her scrambled eggs with tomato and spinach and just chop the veggies up really small. The other night she ate a taco casserole I made that had ground beef in it and I've made some sweet potato fries for her. My two year old was the same way and we just did the baby led weening.
