Milk intolerance?
My son since hes been about 2-3 weeks old experiencing spit up. His first pedi appointment he was put on Zantac to see if it decreased. Well it did but he started back up with it again. He was spitting up so much to the point he was losing weight. Anyways, we continued with the Zantac and at his next appointment we were suggested to try probiotics. They aren’t helping because he’s obviously still experiencing spit up. He has times where he’ll wake up out of his naps and fuss and then go back to sleep. His poops lately have been green and mucusy almost. Almost like it’s sticky and gooey. He only poops once a day also may I add. Sometimes he’ll poop twice a day but that’s the most. We’ve tried gas drops and gripe water for his gas pains which haven’t helped. He fusses almost 24/7 and it’s hard to get him to burp. I’m wondering if this is just a wrong doing on my end or if I should talk to his pediatrician about switching his formula.
