Born at 28 weeks

Ch

April 3rd I had my regular ob appointment and after telling her last night I had some cramping that I was getting told by the hospital and what's not(I called because I was concerned) she decided to check me and then told me, "I can see the bag of water." I was 25 weeks pregnant and one day.

Ever since that moment I was sent down to my capital as my town didnt have the equipment to handle micro premies. I was put on permament bedrest while getting steroid shots to help develop my babys lungs faster in case of his early arrival.

I managed to keep him in for 3 weeks then he decided to make his arrival April 23rd.

He was 2 pounds and 9 oz while being 15.3inches long.

Ever since being born he has been in the NICU. Luckily there are no medical issues other then just being born too early which I am blessed!! I had a rough pregnancy dealing with abuse from the father and the major stress. I was afraid that it would have the worst effect on my son but luckily prematurity is the only thing.

Here is him progressing so much from the first day born to now.(He will be 5 weeks in the NICU this coming Tuesday)

First time skin to skin! A little over a week old💙👶🏼

Comparison from then to now.

Weighing over 1500grams! Gets clothes!

To now: a crib 😭😭💙💙

And now after having CPAP for 5 weeks hes going to come off this week! Will be getting pictures.

If you are a preemie mom or a NICU mom just know your children are SO STRONG! We got ourselves some little fighters.

🤱Strong just like momma!🤱
