How long after can u swim pp c section?

I’m 3 weeks and 3 days pp from c section, we just bought a blow up adult pool so ur not swimming really u just sit and relax in it and I’m wondering if I can now? My cut looks closed up. It’s so hot out today lol. Anybody know when they swam or got in a pool after c section?

I was told after six weeks. Your incision is not healed yet.

Six weeks... not only for your incision, but there is still a wound from where your placenta came out.

At least 6 weeks/when you’re cleared by the OB.  It’s not worth disrupting that healing process.  Infection isn’t worth it
