For the past few months I was having relations with a guy but we were never official. When we first got together he said he didn’t want anymore kids. The first time we slept together I was unprepared because he moved way too fast & it felt like I was in shock by how fast things were moving. Afterwards I asked him to buy condoms & he refused. I bought them & asked him to use them but he’d do whatever he wanted whenever I tried to get them. He’d straight up say no.

He just left a few days ago for a work trip & I gave him a pack of condoms to take with him. The same morning he left I got a BFP when I took a pregnancy test. I haven’t told him because I don’t think this is something you say through a text message. He gets back next month & I don’t know how to tell him or if I even should bother.

Ultimately I know he won’t want this & won’t want to be there. I feel like he’s going to blame me even though I practically begged to use condoms & told him I wasn’t on birth control. What did he expect would happen? I know I’m at fault too because I didn’t stand firmly enough in using protection, but I’m going to deal with the consequences.

Should I tell him? If so, how should I tell him (a text, a joke, pee on a stick in front of him)?
