Baby sitting up in the night?

My little one learned to crawl about a month ago, and since then he is awake all night. He rolls onto his front and then sits up in his sleep - then the crying starts.

He either falls and hits his head on the cot, or wakes himself up because he doesnt know what to do. Then he wont go back to sleep because he wants a boobing.

Me and my partner are utterly exhausted, and so is he. How do I stop him doing this?

He has a pretty good routine before bed - dinner, wind down time, bath, then boob & bed. Pretty consistent since he has been born and we have only had a few issues during the sleep regression stages - but he is up every hour now 😭

Please help a very tired pair of first time parents, I think I might die.
