Does measuring ahead correspond with baby's development?

If baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead, is he also fully grown at 35 weeks instead of 37? Or would his lungs still be immature if he were to be born this week?

I agree with Amanda. I’m currently 33 weeks and measuring 4 ahead according to fundal height. But they’re not changing my due date or anything. The baby is right on track

Measuring ahead is pretty much longer or chubbier than other babies at that stage..........(I believe, ultrasound tech said)

His lungs would still be immature. “measuring big” doesnt correspond with gestational age, and gestational age is what determines how well the body functions.
Measurements are just a guess, anyhow. My son was measuring over 2 weeks ahead from 20w scan forward, but he was born 2 days before his DD and NOT big at all (7lb4oz and 20in)

No sometimes measurements are off but does not mean ur that many weeks if baby measures two weeks ahead ur probably measuring just bigger
