Sex after c-section

My husband didn't really want to have any sexual contact once he found out I was pregnant. We found out July of last year and the last time we had sex was November. Now after not being intimate in so long, having a c-section, and with a newborn around it seems less likely we will ever be intimate again. Anybody out there who can relate? It's made me feel bad about myself sexually but I still have urges.. Maybe I just need to let it go and give up sex?
