What am i supposed to do?

My husband works away and he always calls, i like it but sometimes its a bit much, I will be home with our child, cooking, cleaning, or coming from work and all i wanna do is just sit down and watch tv after putting our son in bed, so I dont answer. He says he gets lonely when he is away from home. I wanna be there for him but iam not his keeper I cant be responsible for keeping him sane, can I? How am i supposed to act?

I don’t think I could ever ignore my partners calls. I would at least answer and have a 1 minute chat and then let him know you need to wind down.

Why not just be honest with him?? 
My husband works away, so we talk all the time. If I want to watch TV or get busy doing something I simply tell him. Otherwise I put it on speaker. But I actually like talking to my husband lol.

I agree with the skype comment, or get 2 facebook Portal's since they can follow you around the room while you are talking. That way he can feel a part of the household even when hes away and you dont always have to stop what your doing.

I think you should tell him how you feel. Have a sit down. Come to a compromise. 
You both are feeling/going through challenges each in your own way/scenario. So you’ve got to compromise to make each other happy. 
Like I wouldn’t intentionally ignore his calls but that doesn’t mean you need to stay on the phone forever either. Find a middle ground that works for you both.

You could always do what my cousin's were doing when the one went away for long periods.
They Skype called each other and would literally just carry on their day. We went there the one day and everyone is getting ready for the lunch and we heard her say hello, to see the tablet propped up and she's there reading a book and watching us. We literally went about doing whatever we were with her on Skype. Apparently they used to do this for hours on end... Watch TV, cook, feed the dogs, read, whatever with them on Skype.

What am i supposed to do?
