Advice co - parenting

Okay so I’ve recently just broke up with my now ex partner I’m 6 months pregnant, I want him to be a part of his child’s life as I’m sure he’ll be an amazing dad how do I go about co-parenting what worked best for you?

I would never use our child as a pawn I just don’t see a future with him emotionally or physically after catching him cheating on me numerous times, I’ve tried making it work and gave him chances but I’ve come to the realisation he won’t change and I need to move on
