Hey y'all, I had my son in March and during my c-section my OB said I have endometriosis and he cauterized a lot of it. I wasn't aware that I had it, but I guess I've always had heavy periods, mild pain during sex and pap smears, etc. I did notice while trying to conceive that my cycle every other month was very long (35+ days) and every other month would be normal (28 to 30 days). Is endometriosis the cause of irregular periods or is that something else? Anyone else find out they have endometriosis during surgery? And will it get better now that it's been cauterized during my c-section or worse with time?
