2cms dilated !!!

My due date is June 26th. I went to my 36 weeks check up today and my doctor said I’m 2 cms dilated. I also had a sonogram and the baby weights 7.5 pounds. I’ve been having period like cramps and a lot of pressure. I have another appt next Tuesday and if I’m 4-5 cms she will send me to the hospital. How long after being told you were dilating did you deliver ?
