How many moms have left their baby overnight yet? If so how did it go?

I just did for the first time last weekend. It was a great opportunity for my husband and I to connect, to get a break and for my family to spend special time with our daughter. I missed her but it was definitely needed!

My husband is military and we are posted 18 hours from our families. If they were here I'd have left him overnight already. We have fabulous friends here but most of them have their own little babes. My mom is coming to visit in July and we're leaving him for an overnight while we go to a wedding.

Its hard to do. But honestly just a few hours away with my man made so much of a difference. She did great with the family and they enjoyed getting to spend time with her without me being up their butts about her.

Going to Mexico for 4 days and I fly out tonight. IM A WRECK 😭😭😭

I did but not on purpose. I hate leaving my kids but in March (when the baby was 2 months) I went to visit a friend and when i was almost there (hour drive) I hit a pothole and my tire exploded. I’m an anxious driver as it is so the combo of the highway for an hour or back roads for even longer, plus a donut tire, plus still cold as hell and black ice, did not make me feel good. Luckily both my kids were with my parents so they kept them and I stayed with my friend overnight and got a new tire once the shops opened. Hated every minute of being away; didn’t sleep a wink.

Haven’t yet. But planning on staying at a hotel for our anniversary in June

I've left my son twice for one night each and he stayed with my mom both times.  He did great!  She watches him when I'm at work so he's used to being over there.
