What about cushion for inside of car seat?

Like this pictured?  Is this still safe?  I guess so right?  It’s been eight years, and I was just thinking about these.  Thank you

only if they came with the car seat! anything bought separately isn’t tested with the seat and isn’t 100% safe.

Nope! Just like everyone else said, only things that come with the far seat are safe. No aftermarket things allowed (head supports, shoulder pads, etc). Here’s a good and safe alternative 😊

Nope. Anything that doesn’t come with your car seat has not been crashed tested with it, and so isn’t safe. I never used anything extra with my daughter, and she was fine! :)

I had some for my daughter but I'm not sure if they came with the carseats or not. We only used them for a short period because she got head control really fast

Nope, but the car seat safety person I saw showed me how to roll receiving blankets in a candy cane shape to help secure the babies head and said that this is the only method proven safe. You probably have car seat safety people in your town and they are GREAT to talk to!

I have one and I think it’s great. I think rolling up receiving blankets is just as dangerous as using a head support. My car seats didn’t come with any but her head would roll side to side in the car

My daughter used these that button around the straps but they’re super soft and small, so they just helped keep her head from sliding back and fourth while she was so tiny.. never had any problems with them but we never had a crash either so idk🤷🏽‍♀️
