I “failed” my 1hr glucose test so I went back in for the 3hr test this morning. After having fasted for 14 hours per instruction, she drew my starting blood, gave me the 100g drink which I had 6min to get down, and sent me back to the waiting room. Well, I only made it 30 minutes before I projectile vomited the entire drink all over the floor! 🤦‍♀️ So NOW I have to go back and redo it later! They said next time they’ll give me zofran and let me lay down. But SERIOUSLY...you give a pregnant woman 100g of sugar on an empty stomach...what do you think is going to happen? Can’t decide if I’m angry or if the fact that I vomited all over their floor is a little funny...

I’m tempted to refuse the test now.
