Stocking up on?

Question

Besides diapers. Are you stocking up on any diaper rash creams, or any other medicines? We hardly got any butt paste for baby boy.

I stocked up on wipes, diapers as best I could, I already always have Children’s Tylenol, antibiotic ointment and some baby cough medicine for my toddler, but he hardly ever requires any medication. And I started a small stock of just plain similac formula. I figure if for some reason my baby can’t use it, I can sell it to the sitter because she’s got like 3 other new babies due this year as well that she’ll be taking care of or if it comes down to it, I’m sure she knows someone who could use it that I could sell it to. 
But honestly I still have plenty of shampoo, baby wash, and lotions and butt cream from my first sons baby shower 2 years ago. That stuff tends to last a LOT longer than you think!

Nope. You never know what your baby will react to, or favor better, so there’s no point. I stocked on diaper creams and other various items and my son ended up with super sensitive skin, so a lot of it went to waste. Two brands of diapers and wipes gave him chemical burns. Then he peed straight out of another brand no matter how hard we tried. Then was allergic to creams, so we could only use ointments. Medicines expire quickly and you never know how often you’ll actually use it.

I only stock up on wipes, Tylenol, and Gripe Water. Everything else I’ll try samples and see if my baby agrees with them.

Don’t get too much medication in case you don’t use it up fast enough. That stuff expires after about a year. Probably won’t be a problem, but it’s just something to consider!

We somehow got two tubs and a smaller tube of Butt Paste... We have an okay amount of diapers & wipes, but not a ton... We only have formula that was sent as a promotional gift, so probably need to get a few more of those. They are tricky because they expire quickly. Basically we have everything we need for the first month or so. And tons of Butt Paste.

We got a TON of stuff from my baby shower and we are still putting it all away 
Our family stocked us up really well 
We have tons of shampoos, lotions, creams, diapers (even tho we are using cloth), wipes, etc. 
Multiple sets of baby manicure sets. 
Tons of clothes. 
At this point idk what to even do with all of it 
We are still putting together the nursery
