When is the typical time to get your first US?

I am 5 weeks pregnant today (5/29/19) and my first appt is scheduled for July 9. That appointment will be just an intake appointment- no ultrasound. 
Is this typical?? It seems like a long way away! 😳

It does seem like a long way away, but I don’t think that’s too unusual. My doctor scheduled my first appointment and ultrasound for 9 weeks and my first was at 8 weeks with my first pregnancy.
