Putting baby on schedule?

Has anyone put their breastfed baby on a schedule? How old were they when you started?

I don't really during the day but I do a feed at 8pm the same time every night regardless if my son has eaten in the last hour or not then I wrap rock and put to bed he sleeps through the night pretty much every night

No, it seems like my baby (7 weeks) is hungry almost hourly unless she’s napping.

I don’t breastfeed but my baby is on a feeding schedule. I didn’t do it purposefully, it’s just how it’s worked out. He eats 4 ounces every 4 hours. His schedule may get a little messed up but it’s only by an hour. So I still know when he’s about ready to eat.

Yes. I breastfeed exclusively and LO was on a schedule by the end of week one. He has kept to it and adjusts to schedule changes really well. I followed the directions in Baby Wise and it has worked great! 
I feed on schedule and if he is hungry between scheduled times, I feed him then as well. After week one, he has rarely ever been hungry when eating is not scheduled.

I don’t see how you can put a breastfed baby on a schedule? They usually feed on demand every few hours but then also need to be breastfed for comfort or illness x

No. My baby eats every  1-2 hours all day and every 2-4 hours at night. I don’t see any benefits to a feeding schedule.

I try with my 6 week old, it’s not always perfect, but I try to stay as close as possible. I feed every 2.5-3 hours depending on how naps go. My last feed is always at 8, then I change her, swaddle her, sing a song then put her down.

My 6 week old is on somewhat of a schedule during the day. I breastfeed and try to have him eat every 2-2/12 hours. I also do a diaper change before he eats and he’s starting to pick up that food is coming next.

No, I just feed her when she's hungry. Which can be anywhere between every hour to every 3 or 4 hours.
