My boyfriend and I live together and split everything 50/50. Even the application fees and down payments

I'm a SAHM, so in my case, no. When I worked everything went into a joint account so it was our money that paid the bills.

If it is decided within the relationship. My husband pays most of the bills. I pay for our necessities like food, clothes, hygiene products, etc. The rest I put in savings.

I choose to work because being a nurse is awesome but my hubby is old school Mexican.  He was taught it’s his responsibility either way so he never relies on my money. As far as my hubby is concerned that’s part of his obligation when he chose to get married. 
Personally I’m pretty modern and would be happy to go 50/50 if it came up but my husband wouldn’t feel like he is doing his job as a husband. 🤷🏼‍♀️. 
So I buy shoes instead and play the stock market lol.
