I have my appointment for HSG tomorrow?

Can someone tell me what to expect?
Is the pain the same as when you get an IUD inserted?

If everything is normal the test is just a little awkward feeling and uncomfortable. When  they start releasing the dye, you’ll feel intense pain/pressure is one or both of your Fallopian tubes are blocked. I had mine two weeks ago and they found a blockage in my right tube. I almost screamed out on the exam table.

I’ve never had an IUD, but from what I’ve read, some people say it’s super painful. For me, it just felt like a Pap smear tbh. Uncomfortable but not painful at all. Dr told me to take an ibuprofen an hour before procedure.  I have hear it’s more painful if your tube is blocked tho.
