I finally took the plunge after 2 unsuccessful 150 Clomid cycles to make an appointment with an RE. I’m kind of mad at myself for not going straight to this option, as I’m almost 40 and now regretting doing 2 unmonitored cycles. (worried I thinned my lining and don’t know it).

I was prescribed Clomid by a new OB-GYN to use for 3 cycles, but I never had any testing and no monitoring during the month. All I know is that I DID ovulate both times based on OPK and charting. Also, I was VERY dry but used Preseed.. but no BFP’s so maybe my CM was still too hostile even with preseed.

So... I can’t get into the RE for 3 weeks so basically have one more cycle to try before that. Do I try to do a monitored cycle of maybe a lower dosage? Do I not bother with Clomid? Try Femara? Help! Don’t want to throw away another cycle if it could still help. WWYD?
