Being obesity can cause infertility problems?

I told my doctor I been trying for about 2 yrs ago to conceive for my 2nd child. She said by me gaining so much weight my fat cells is not responding to my hormones for being obesity. So she told me to eat healthy and get healthy and then I should have no problems getting pregnant...I guess🤷🏽‍♀️ but I stop trying and focus more on getting my body healthy..and just hope the lord will bless me and my husband with a beautiful healthy little angel 😇

Unfortunately  yes, obesity can play a major role in fertility. Yes, obese women do get pregnant, but there are so many more risks associated with this pregnancies than if you lost some weight and got down to a healthier weight.  I am speaking from experience. I've lost 150 lbs naturally before trying for babies, and got pregnant within 4 months once we started trying, and I'm over 8 weeks pregnant now. Doctors kept warning me over and over of my risks of child bearing while obese,  so I never tried while I was 350lbs. I'm still classified as 'overweight' at 200lbs but have amazing blood work/levels, and doctors have zero concerns with my weight and my ability to have a normal, healthy low-risk pregnancy.
I knew a girl who was morbidly obese and she got weight loss surgery after her docs told her that she would never be able to have children. She hadn't had a period in YEARS! But once she lost about 100 lbs after surgery, her periods returned, and she has a healthy 4 month old baby now! 
So healthy weight can definitely play a role in ones ability to conceive. But it's not a line in the sand, ya know? 
Being overweight or obese during pregnancy opens up the door to many serious issues for pregnancy and labor that is far less of an issue if healthier, such as: Preeclampsia,  increased risk of cesarean birth, fetal macrosomia, increased metabolic syndromes and child obesity, birth defects increase (like heart defects and neutral tube defects), cardiac dysfunction, preterm birth, sleep apnea, difficult vaginal delivery, high blood pressure during pregnancy, gestational diabetes,  higher risk of miscarriage/stillbirth/reoccurring miscarriages, etc etc. Its scary. 
When I found all of that out, that was just the motivation I needed to shed the lbs.  It's hard, but doable when you have intrinsic motivation beyond just yourself to worry about.  Good luck girl!! You are strong, you are fierce, and you can do anything you put your mind to! 💞💞💞💞
