Best Baby Monitor?

New, expecting mom here and I am looking to see what baby monitors you guys love. I've been researching like crazy but cant find one I love because the bad reviews on monitors scare me away. I am looking for a video monitor that I can see from my phone (can look at when not home), preferably that can pan and zoom and that shows the temperature in the room. Also that doesnt need super fast wifi and can be connected to multiple monitors for the future children. Does it exist?

I would recommend not going with the WiFi monitors. They are so easily hacked. That would mean not being able to use your phone to see baby though. We love our Infant Optics monitor. It isn’t WiFi, so you can’t use your phone. It lets us talk to baby, zoom in, and it tells room temperature.

Check Groupon! I’ve gotten 2 from there and they work off an app that I can see when not at home and prices are so much more reasonable.

I use a vtech that works via Bluetooth, and you can add up to 4 cameras so you can increase visibility as your child gets older and goes from spot to spot. I also bought a cheaper one a while ago, and the sound was always terrible, as was the visibility. I look for the ability to play music remotely for my son, and also speak to him. He’s 3 now, and I like being able to say “hey, get back in bed” from my own room.

Idk for sure, but it looks like security cameras work really well as monitors and are much cheaper ($30-$60) but have almost no security on them and are very likely to be hacked. While actual baby monitors are more expensive but have better security as to not getting hacked. I work nights and would like to be able to see baby while I'm at work.
