Hearing problem

I went to get my hearing tested today because I am partly deaf, I don’t hear anything on my right ear, I told my doctor about it during my last check up, and he told me to get a hearing test to see if it would be a problem during birth. I am 25 weeks pregnant. So I had the hearing test done and the doctor doing the test told me that from the results a c-section would be a safer option. Have any of you ladies had a similar situation that you couldn’t give birth naturally because of a hearing problem ? I did hear that eyesight does have an impact on birth but I didn’t hear anything about hearing being a problem.
