Fetal Monitoring: The bands are so itchy! What can you do?

Has anyone seen or tried something to relieve the itchy bands used to hold the fetal monitors in place?

Are you allergic? I’ve never thought they were itchy

I’ve never had an itching problem. But I was in labor for 25 hours and they never moved the bands, so one of the holes where they can tighten it left me with a tiny boil kinda from my skin pushing through it and now I have a scar 🙃 it’s a scar above my belly button scar so now it looks like I had it pierced twice lol

I think they are horribly itchy and they make my skin red
