2nd time mom here that planned on having a natural birth the first time around but ended up with preeclampsia, had to be induced and resulted in an emergency c section for a prolapsed cord.

Looking back, I feel like I wasn’t truly educated on how the body works during labor, stages of labor, etc so this time around I’d like to change that. Unless there is an indication to have to intervene medically, I’d like to go in with a good mindset.

What are your favorite books for the process of birth, being informative, being natural, etc?
