Anxiety about unprotected sex

So me and my boyfriend more often then not have unprotected sex. However I’m on the pill, and haven’t missed a day, but I think we started having sex before waiting a week for the birth control to work. Am I pregnant? If so how do I tell? Will I start my period on the pill?
