Any advice for a young person who is staring to get on the shot ?

I am 20. Been on the shot for 1.5 years, only issue I have found is lack of sex drive. Weight gain has not been an issue and I don’t even work out. It’s different for everyone. Try it for the 3 months, see how your body reacts and move on from there. No pregnancy scares but if I got pregnant now everything would be fine.

Buy a TON of tampons and eat a balanced diet and start working out! I’ve been on it for two months now and went up to my highest of 201 and am now eating clean and going to the gym. The weight gain is no lie! I’m even having a hard time getting the weight off efficiently and I’ve only been on it for two months. Make sure to take daily vitamins and have a healthy calcium intake. I wouldn’t take calcium pills because too much calcium can cause harm, but with daily multivitamins and a balanced diet you should get enough.

Just know that after 2 years it can effect your bone density.
