What words are your little ones are saying if any?

My son barely says anything. He says momma daddy sometimes. Little concerned.

We just had my sons 18 month appt. The dr said actually speaking is the highest variable between kids at this age. He sees a huge variety of lots of words to none.
He focused more on what does he understand (pick up you shoes, where are body parts, wheres the ball), does he communicate nonverbally (point, lift hands to be picked up, respond to name, eye contact). Just remember there are others forms of communication and words should come when they are ready 🤷

My kid talks just not in the same language I do lol. Mom and dad and me are her favorite words. Other than that she will tell you a whole story in her own language with hand expressions. I’m not worried about it at all. I’ll be more concerned around 2 years old if she isn’t trying.

We are actually at 300+ words right now but we were at 25 before she turned one and her vocabulary has exploded since. Her pediatrician is thinking she will test as “gifted” but they don’t do testing until after age 5. I asked what the “normal” was and they said at 18 months they see somewhere around 5 words and by 24 months they like to see them using a few two or three word phrases.
Don’t worry mamas, faster isn’t better, slower isn’t wrong!

My son definitely has over 20 words, but not a ton of different sounds, so a lot of them sound the same. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Like cup, beep, and bib are all “bup.”

He doesn’t say much. He talks constantly but it is a babble and uses different tones as if he might be asking a question etc. 
He can point at things and say something that sounds like “there!” Which is so cute 🤣 
He says the usual mama, dada, baba and sometimes he has started saying hiya. 
The rest is just baby babble, I’m not concerned. He’s very social and they all come on in their own time

My son is very physical, anything I ask him to do he does, very good at remembering, when he’s thirsty he’ll grab a water bottle our of the fridge and his sippy from wherever and bring it to me, just recently started saying Oh my, Oh shit, oh no, Go, he tries to say time out but it comes out nime ow, girl (but most the time it’s gul) all da for all done

At the 18 month check up, the doctor said she should be saying 15 words.  If you’re worried, see the pediatrician or call Early On!

My son sometimes says Noni, but that’s easy, he says no which is why Noni is easier for him. It’s normally mommy or daddy or go is his favorite right now. He also tries to say his big sisters name which is Autumn so it’s normally just screaming Outo😂

My son says around 20-25 words regularly and a couple short phrases like all done and oh no. The doctor said children that walk early are usually a little behind on speaking and he was a very early walker. He seems to be right around the average for this age. He didn’t really start saying anything until after he turned 1 and the majority has been learned in the last couple months.
