BCG vaccine?

Did you get the tuberculosis vaccine for your newborn even if you don’t fit the criteria? No family or country visits where baby would be exposed to it?

We’re in London so high risk area. 
All babies are offered it at birth. My son was prem and in SCBU so we skipped it at birth and they should have administered it before he left but they forgot! 
So i called to ask for it after he was discharged and they refused as i was not a high risk mother but i went mental at them cos it was their fault and he missed out due to being premature. 
Needless to say they relented and he got it done as an outpatient appt when he wS about 3 months old. I want every vaccination going tbh!

My little one had it as even though my husband and I are born in England, my father in law was born in India so we came under the criteria x

Hiya, my little boy just had his two month injections on Wednesday, he had all the standard recommended ones - three needles and an oral one. I don't think bcg was on the list. I just looked it up on the NHS website and it says in children under 1 it's only recommdned if they live in an area of the UK where tb rates are high, or if parents or g parents are born in a country with high rates.
Put it in Google there's a leaflet on the NHS website that will help you decide, liks don't work here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tb-bcg-and-your-baby-leaflet but that's it x
