Mucus Plug or Bloody Show?

FTM, 38 weeks today. Didn’t think I would ever post a TMI picture but here it is.... cramping a bit and had my cervix check today, I was only 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. When I went to shower this came out.... is this my bloody show or just mucus plug? 😳

It doesn’t look like either. Both would be like a giant booger. Bloody show is a brownish giant booger. Mucus plug is a clear giant booger.

Just had very similar discharge earlier today, was a little freaked out. Doctor said it was probably my bloody show and labour should be near 🤞🏻

Neither. Looks like irritation from the cervix check.

My best guess is this is a part of your bloody show. I wouldn’t know what else it was. I would call L&D or your doctor and ask what to do.

It could also just be from your check earlier. The first one I had this pregnancy I had spotting and a lot of extra discharge. It can’t hurt to check with your dr though.
