Pumping work schedule?

I’ve been at work for the last 2 days. My shifts are only 5-6 hours depending in morning/afternoon shift. I’ve just been pumping 2.5-3 hrs after her last feed before I leave. Is that what I should be doing? Or more often? Or just pump when I start to feel full? I’ve only been able to get 3oz total from both side each pump session while working? She’s 6 weeks, so is that a normal amount?

When i pumped at work i was told to follow babies feeding schedule.  So pump when they would eat.

Pump when they would eat. I would pump after each feeding. Pump when she would eat normally if you aren't home. Pump when you get back and before bed.

Also try to coordinate with whoever is caring for your baby. If you’re going to be home within one hour try to have them hold off on feeding or only give 1 ounce so you can feed baby right when you get home. I pumped a similar amount with pumping sessions at work.
