When should I expect my next period after a miscarriage?

There are so many unanswered questions i have. But this one seems to bother me most as I am looking forward to starting my cycle again. I am still hurt about losing hope, even so early on in my pregnancy. The pain, discomfort, loss I have bean healing from all of it. But it seems my body has stalled on its menstrual cycle. I am looking forward to moving on and accepting that I am not pregnant anymore. It's been five and a half weeks since My miscarriage and I have yet to see a doctor. I was trying to let lady nature move her course. But now I am anxious. i need to make an appointment to see my doctor. And I will.
