My doc has checked me twice - 38w and today at 39w. It is so uncomfortable for me. Anyone else?

I have to do major deep breathing, and it’s hard to keep all my muscles from tightening. She didn’t go for a sweep as I probably couldn’t have handled it.

She said I was about 2cm dilated, 75% effaced, with baby’s head low. She guessed I would deliver this week anyway. We will see...

Am I the only one not getting sweeps and struggling so much with the checks?
