Animals sense pregnancy?

Do u think animals can sense pregnancy? I think ive seen a post like this. But I wanna share my story. 
My kitten a couple weeks ago could care less about me being pregnant lol. But now I think she realizes bc she will scratch (not hard doesnt leave a mark or anything) at my belly. N smell it. Shes been following me around EVERYWHERE, if i dont give her attention shes meows like crazy lol. My anxiety has been high too bc ive been worrying i have a heart problem even tho a ekg n CT scan ruled out that I dont (im a hypochondriac). Ive had a rough day but she wont leave my side now n is making sure im okay. She even tried to hop in the shower w me when i took mine lmao

Animals can smell hormones. Technically humans can too, we just don’t notice it and it’s not as advanced as it is in other animals.

Cats communicate almost exclusively non-verbally through scent. 
In fact, meowing is something they do pretty much just for us because they think we’re too stupid to pick up the scents they leave. 
I think it’s a safe bet that they can pick up on pregnancy hormones.

I think they can. My cat is the most standoffish cat I’ve ever met. She won’t come near you unless she wants her food bowl filled. As soon as I became pregnant, she became incredibly clingy and won’t leave my side. I’m assuming she senses something different with me. I don’t know if she can tell I’m pregnant, but she can definitely sense a change in hormones.

Yes I believe they can. When I was miscarrying, one of my cats sat with me and cuddled me and head butted me the whole time and it honesty helped me so much fight through the pain. Sorry if this is TMI, but I was sitting on the toilet for literal hours and she was on my knee through it all. I definitely think the knew what was going on.
