Anyone take progesterone in early pregnancy?

Has anyone ever had to take oral progesterone in early pregnancy because of low or slightly low progesterone levels? If so, has anyone heard if taking the oral progesterone pills vaginally? Iveheard you can take them vaginally and it would work just as well and be less side effects. Please help!

My doctor had me take them vaginally and the slide effects were less  intense. So yes you can put them in your cooter and actually not have to worry about being super high off them symptoms orally

Definitely take them vaginally and you won’t have the nasty side effects. Just put it in at bedtime and wear a pad

My doctor has me take them vaginally because I have gastrointestinal issues with peanuts, and those are made with peanut oil. Thankfully I can take them vaginally with no side affects! 
Do you know what your progesterone level was to have them prescribe it to you?

I took mine both ways. Dr did say it absorbs better when done vaginally. But it ended up making my progesterone too high so they told me to go back to taking it orally.

I don’t think you should put anything in your vagina made to be ingested, you are right... there are vagina ones, but ask specifically for those ones to be sure you are doing the right thing. I was originally on progesterone injections but had to switch to the vagina inserts due to a shortage at my pharmacy and I personally hated them, when they leaked out I was constantly worried it would be blood, messy to me. I however have never had the oral ones
