I am 31 weeks and 3 days the doctor said my baby boy is 3lbs and 8oz is that normal?

Normal and you have to take those things with a grain of salt. Ultrasounds that determine an unborn baby’s weight really aren’t that accurate. I wouldn’t worry.

My boy was. 3 pounds exactly at 30 weeks. He was 7 lbs 12 oz at birth.

All babies are born different shape and sizes. Don’t stress about it; I work at a hospital and I see babies being born full term weighing a range of 5lb 2oz to 10lb 6oz ( and a little less and a little more). Also, ultrasounds are just a guesstimate there is no true way to know your babies weight till he or she is in your hands. 
Just continue to eat right, exercise (take long walks) when you can and take your prenatal.
