Greatest Daddy-To-Beš
Seriously. I just need to take a second to be an emotional pregnant woman and give thanks to the man I married. I have been with him since I was 14, so 14 years in December. We have had rocky patches where I was sure that it was āgame overā, but in those days we relied heavily on our foundation and always made it through to the other side. He has the biggest heart and most amazing work ethic I have ever seen. We both work full-time, but he has worked tirelessly to provide me everything my little heart desires. He cuddles me every night and hasnāt left to go to work without kissing my forehead and telling me that he loves me ONCE in the past 7 years. The list goes on.
But now, itās just unbelievable. Since finding out that Iām pregnant, he has seriously stepped up his game. He is extremely understanding of my mood swings, helps around the house more (we are very traditional in our roles), cooks dinner or gets my cravings on the way home from work when Iām too exhausted, constantly is telling me Iām beautiful and that heās so lucky to have me be the mother of his first born. He treats me like a queen. Yes, Iām bragging. Tonight, he brought me my favorite ice cream, gave me a massage and watched one of our favorite shows together and then we snuggled till he passed out. You might think he sounds obnoxious, but you gotta understand this is coming from a 20-something construction superintendent, who is the most manly of manly manās. Itās sincere and itās sweet.
Itās moments like this that I thank God for putting this incredible man in my life. He is going to make an amazing father. If you have someone like this in your life, share it with me, they deserve to be bragged about. If you donāt, remember that they are out there and not to settle for a sucker because real men treat their woman like a queen.
