I still ovulated after taking plan b.

I took plan b on Tuesday not knowing ovulation was the next day. Now all I can do is wait and see what happens in two weeks. I know we only have like a 20% chance of conceiving every cycle, so maybe I won’t. And though the box says may prevent implantation there’s actually a lot of articles by plan b manufacturers that say it’s not true and they have fought the FDA to change the label but they won’t, so the sole job of plan b is to stop ovulation from occurring and change the lining of the uterus so the sperm can’t get to the egg. But once the egg is fertilized the pill can’t do much else. And unfortunately sperm was already in there since Monday waiting for ovulation on Wednesday 😪😪😪

I’m trying not to freak out...😅

I don’t need advice or anything what’s done is done. I just can’t believe I took it too late😓

Update 2: currently on 9dpo had some mild cramping since yesterday, never had that prior to a period before it’s usually sore boobs and that’s how I know my period is coming. I also never get cramps in general (I’m a lucky one) I’m not sure if it’s due to the plan b though 🤷🏽‍♀️. My cervix is still way up high, soft, wet and closed not sure when it’s supposed to come down after ovulation occurs. My pregnancy test are negative. I did take apart a wondfo stick test this morning and saw another line and that freaked me out but I’m not gonna go by that. I have a doctors appointment next Monday I’m gonna do a ultrasound, urine test and blood test and will know for sure. My period is due either the 11th or 12th. Will update next week.

Last update: had a very low temp this morning below coverline and this afternoon got my period so the long and scary two week wait is over. I did still ovulate but somehow plan b prevented a pregnancy from occurring. No more close calls for me!😅
