She doesn’t look overweight or anything does she

I was told she is a fat ass for a German Shepherd 😂 I think she’s just about to grow a lot

She looks solid, but that could be her breed. My dad has two dogs, now adults, who are similarly built.

Puppies are supposed to look more bloated because they have to eat more because they have to grow and waste a lot of energy running around. My puppies were always fatter than this for a chihuahua. They grew up and were normal healthy dogs. He looks fine 😊

It’s good to instill proper eating habits at this age so they don’t grow into thinking they need to eat eat eat eat. He’s a little chunky, but most puppies are :) make sure you are following the eating guidelines on the bag. You should be-able to feel the ribs, and you should be able to see a clear waist line when looking from above. It’s hard to judge a dog without being there, but he looks a little on the heavy side for 7 months. But with that being said, it could be a matter of more exercise or eating just a tiny bit less. It also might be that he hasn’t lost his puppy fat yet. Give him a few more months, but if you are free feeding, I suggest splitting his food into 2-3 small meals. Maybe cut back on treats. Cut out a certain amount of his regular dog food to use as his treats for the day. Regular treats are fine, just make sure you deduct the calories from his meal and don’t go overboard. I know that’s hard to do with training sometimes

Its a puppy!! Theyre still growing so dont worry about they're weight until they're fullsize adult or atleast 1yr+ , they grow into they're wrinkles and rolls, just like a baby does!! Aslong as they're being fed the correct amount that the food brand requires for the age of the pup & they are getting exersized then there is nothing to worry about :) its when they're beyond puppy age you need to keep an eye on the pounds for they're health & joints etc
