Not necessarily. I never had a positive opk when I was pregnant.

The LH surge is different than HCG hormone. Although, it looks very close to a positive. Remember a positive opk is just as dark if not darker than the control line. When I had my positive with my last baby, it was close, but not a complete positive opk. Do not use them as a hcg test please. Then again, everybody is different 🤷‍♀️
