Yesterday morning I woke up to pee and when I wiped it was a lot of blood. I'm 16wks and high risk. So I got up and looked in the toilet and it was blood and clots in there. Got my husband up so he can see it and we went to the hospital. While in the ER they did a pelvic exam and said that my cervix was open. But they were also able to hear a heart beat. So I was transferred to a different hospital because the one I was at didn't have a maternity ward (which I didn't know because I was born at the hospital 🤦). Well by the time I get to the other hospital and checked in. They do another pelvic exam and they said I stopped bleeding and my cervix closed. No one was able to tell me why my cervix opened in the first place or if it was normal. They didn't do a ultrasound and they sent me home. Have this happened to anyone else and if so how what did your doctor say about it?
