I met my boyfriends family

at his cousins graduation party today. He is 6 years older than I am, I’m 19, he’s 25, and his aunt comes up and starts talking with me and asked if we had gone to school together. And I said no that I had graduated two years ago and she gave me the look and goes “..oh” and walks away.

Why does everyone hate couples with age gaps? It’s not even bad. It works for us so I don’t see the problem. Do any of you have an age gap w your SO that people are uncomfortable with? How do you not get offended when people say that it’s predatory or gross?
