Should I get a bassinet? Plz read description

Hi everyone. I’m currently 29 weeks and was wondering if getting a bassinet would be worth it. I already know the benefits of having it close to you. 
My concerns in where I live. Which pretty much is not in the beat neighborhood. I live on a corner house and the only place to put the bassinet is by either of the two windows in our master bedroom. We have horrible grown a** like mid to late 50 year old neighbors that are always outside arguing at wee hours in the AM as well as random cars that continue to park their car on the side of our house blasting there music probably selling drugs who knows. Cops never does anything about it. this happens in the morning and at night almost everyday. But unfortunately our lease is not up yet. 
Anywho. Her nursery obviously is not completely cut off from the noise but its the room furtherest away from the street at least and in the middle of the house. Her room also only has one window .. idk i have a thing about being close to windows. 
At this point sure it would be nice and convenient to have her near by but I’d much rather have her sleep in a safe spot and away from all the loud noise that could keep her awake

Get a noise machine. It’s a lifesaver! Use a running water or white noise setting. The bassinet is great, and it’s safest to have baby sleeping in the same room as you. Especially when they’re really little.

If you're worried about noise, get a noise machine.  Under a  window is not usually a good place for baby.  With the curtains, blind cord, and if you have it open then the draft.  Would it be an option to do one of those travel bassinet you can have in bed with you?  I would only recommended baby be in bed with you with the bassinet, not just sleeping in bed with you. If she's around noise from day one and you continue to make noise whenever she's sleeping you should be ok with having her in your room. A noise machine is also a good idea. My sister had my nephew on the front window on a house with noisy neighbors and no ac. He also had a noise machine. When we took him up north to my parents cottage in the woods he didn't sleep well because there wasn't enough noise. She had to do noise machine and TV to get him to sleep.

I have loved using a bassinet for my baby as it makes nights a lot easier and is a peace of kind for me knowing he's safe, if you wanted the baby in the same room as you maybe a white noise machine to drown out other noises? But if you do decide to have the baby in their own room you could always get a video monitor and the owlet so that you can keep check on them whilst they are in there own room!

I loved our bassinet because our daughter was able to sleep right next to me for a few months till I got her used to her crib. It was so much easier on me after bringing our daughter home so I didn’t have to get up and walk to her room when I was already so exhausted waking up in the middle of the night. Highly recommend a bassinet!☺️

My daughters halo bassinest is against a window, but our bedroom is upstairs so while she’s next to the window...there’s not much harm. We don’t really get thunderstorms or lightening here in the PNW so I’m not worried about that either. But if I felt there was potential risks I would try and move my room around to where she wouldn’t be by the window if possible.
