TMI - bfs ejaculation

Ok soooooo me and my bf have sex and it’s great sex. But he’s extremely insecure about him ejaculating too early? I know that premature ejaculation is a thing but I don’t wanna mention anything of the sort to make him feel any more insecure than he already does. He said that the longest he’s been able to last has been probs about an hour with someone else and it was Bc he didn’t have any emotional attachment to them? But he has a lot of emotional attachment to me(I’m the same way towards him emotionally) but I just wanted to see if this is common? Or possible? Or just something to help him that’s gonna help us better understand what he’s going through
